  History: The owner of this estate enlisted in the Army Air 
 Corp in 1944 and became a bomber flight officer.  After whi
 ch\, he got his PhD in chemistry and went on to work with the
  Department of Energy in Materials research\, eventually beco
 ming a Registered Professional Engineer. He tenured as a Pro
 fessor of Engineering becoming the Dean of Engineering at Wr
 ight State University. He owned a consulting firm that servi
 ced government\, industry and legal community clients with t
 his engineering expertise. He did research in helmet design 
 for sports\, automotive and military applications\, many of wh
 ich are still used today.  Notably\, he held one of the pate
 nts in personal body armor designed for President Ronald Rea
 gan\, which also protected the staff and flight crew during 
 the initial foray into detente with the People's Republic of
  China (he actually took a 357 bullet while testing one of h
 is ballistic vests). During the Vietnam conflict\, he was par
 t of an elite team who operated behind enemy lines gathering
  intelligence and conducting covert operations as the infam
 ous final survivor of the "five fingers of death". Pickup is
